Ideal candidates will hold a High Risk Work License (Crane) and have prior crane operating experience, a strong safety mindset, and reliable transport. Ongoing casual work and strong team support are offered.

XL Precast is a busy and expanding precast concrete manufacturer based in Smithfield, NSW. We specialise in high-quality precast elements for commercial, industrial and civil projects across New South Wales. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join our production team on a casual basis.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Crane Operator to join our team on a casual basis. This role involves operating cranes safely and efficiently within a busy precast/manufacturing environment while working closely with production and yard teams. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys early starts and is looking for consistent work.

• Casual position
• Competitive hourly rate of $40 - $45 per hour
• Monday to Saturday work schedule
• Early morning start time of 3:30 AM
• Typical shifts of 10-12 hours per day
• Supportive team environment
• Ongoing work for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities

• Operate overhead, gantry, or mobile cranes safely and efficiently
• Lift, move, and position precast concrete products and materials
• Conduct pre-start equipment inspections
• Follow site safety procedures and lifting plans
