XL Precast, a busy precast concrete manufacturer in Smithfield, NSW, is seeking a reliable Crane Operator for a casual position. The role involves operating overhead, gantry, and mobile cranes within a busy production environment, with early starts and long shifts.

Ideal candidates will hold a High Risk Work License (Crane) and have prior crane operating experience, a strong safety mindset, and reliable transport. Ongoing casual work and strong team support are offered.

Qualifications

• Current High Risk Work License (Crane).
• Previous crane operating experience.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transport and punctuality.
• Ability to work early starts and extended shifts when required.
• Commitment to workplace safety.
• Precast concrete experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead, gantry, or mobile cranes safely and efficiently.
• Lift, move, and position precast concrete products and materials.
• Conduct pre-start equipment inspections.
• Follow site safety procedures and lifting plans.
• Work closely with production personnel and supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Complete required operational documentation.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as directed.
