Job summary

Justice Officer – Prison Services Casual at Department of Justice and Community Safety VIC in Ararat. You will support daily services at Hopkins Correctional Centre and HM Prison Langi Kal Kal, handling money, stock, records and other tasks to keep the prisons running.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate payments, enter data and help manage prisoner money and accounts.
• Order stock, check supplies and help run the prisoner shop.
• Manage secure mail, records and prisoner property, following the right steps.
• Help with prisoner arrivals, transfers and releases, plus meetings and letters.
• Provide helpful service to staff and others, solve problems and suggest ways to improve daily work.
