Job summary

Fenner Conveyors, part of the Michelin Group, is seeking a Mechanical Conveyor Technician/Fitter for our Hunter Service team on a casual on-site basis in NSW. You will install, repair and maintain conveyor systems, diagnose faults, and ensure safety and quality are the priority on every job.

The role requires a Mechanical Trade Qualification, a current Australian driver’s license, and unlimited working rights in Australia. Training for safety and heights may be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Trade Qualification is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical conveyor maintenance.
• Self-starter with a strong safety and quality focus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Current Australian Driver’s license required.
• Unlimited working rights in Australia.
• White Card, Dogging, Rigging or Working at heights desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain conveyor systems and components.
• Conduct conveyor audits to diagnose condition and faults.
• Ensure equipment and tools are site-ready and compliant.
• Perform quality audits on work completed.
• Assist with job scoping and planning.
• Sign off timesheets and validate with supervisor.
• Create/modify JSAs and ensure crew sign-off.
• Promote safety and participate in new procedures.
