Job summary

Fenner Conveyors is seeking a trade qualified Electrician for a 6-month workshop-based role in Australia. You will assemble, wire, test, inspect, maintain and repair electrical equipment, ensuring safety and quality compliance within our workshop.

The position values safety, flexibility to work outside normal hours, and experience with electrical switchboards. Forklift licence is desirable. Mining/conveyor/heavy industry background is advantageous.

About you:

We are looking for a team player who is self-driven and possesses the following skills and experience:

• Trade qualified licensed Electrician
• Previous Mining/Conveyor/Heavy Industry experience is highly desirable
• Experience in wiring electrical switchboards
• Forklift Licence (desirable, but not essential)
• Intermediate level knowledge of safety requirements, safe work practices for performing electrical work to AS standards and to electrical compliance regulations
• Ability to read electrical drawings
• A strong commitment to safety and quality
• Flexibility to work outside of normal hours as required

Your role:

This is a workshop-based role and is a 6-month fixed term position responsible for assembly, wiring, testing, inspection, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment ensuring safety, statutory and quality compliance within our electrical workshop.
