Job summary

Wellways is seeking a casual Support Worker in Albury, NSW to help participants live fulfilling lives in the community. The role involves personal care, domestic tasks, and facilitating social participation, with travel to clients' homes.

Open availability is valued; you may support the NDIS program and work within a supportive, nationally recognised organisation that offers salary packaging and professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate 3 in Mental Health, Disability, Aged Care, Home and Community Care or related fields.
• Current Driver's license and access to a registered, insured vehicle.
• National Police Check (within last 12 months) and Working with Children Check.
• NDIS Orientation Certificate and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Manual Handling training desirable.
• Experience with physical disabilities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a variety of services to support participants to live fulfilling lives.
• Assist with daily living, personal care, domestic activities.
• Support social and community participation and skill development.
• Open availability is highly regarded but not essential.
