Job summary

Greater Hume Council is seeking a casual Customer Relations Officer to join our team, delivering customer service across council locations including Culcairn, Henty, Holbrook and Jindera. The role combines front-line customer service with library support, contributing to community engagement and access to council services.

Eligible candidates will provide excellent service, enjoy working in a flexible casual role up to 35 hours per week, and meet checks including Working with Children, National

Qualifications

• Experience delivering quality customer service in a busy environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for Council enquiries in person and by phone.
• Deliver accurate information and assist with access to services.
• Maintain records of interactions using CRM systems.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve enquiries.
• Provide information on Services Australia, NSW TrainLink, and library services.
• Assist with day-to-day operation of libraries and programs.
• Contribute to reporting and administrative activities.
