Minor Hotels on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a casual Commis Chef for Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort in Caloundra. Join a dynamic kitchen team and contribute to high-quality dishes while developing culinary skills in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist across kitchen sections, work with the team to ensure smooth service, and uphold HACCP and OH&S standards. Weekly rosters offer two days off, with overtime and staff meal benefits.

Qualifications

• Relevant Certificate III in Cookery.
• Knowledge of Modern Australian Cuisine.
• Understanding of HACCP and Workplace Health and Safety (OH&S) requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and presentation of dishes across all sections of the kitchen.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and smooth operations.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Take initiative to develop culinary skills and grow within a professional kitchen environment.
• Support less experienced team members when required.
