Job summary

EVT Group at Rydges North Sydney is seeking casual Commis Chefs to join our kitchen team. You’ll be a key player in daily operations across restaurant, IRD and breakfast, delivering high-quality food while upholding standards, food safety and guest experience.

The role suits someone with 1+ year of kitchen experience, able to work across sections and adapt to breakfast or dinner shifts. You’ll join a supportive Daymakers culture within EVT’s hotel and entertainment network.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a chef in hotels, restaurants or bistros.
• Experience across different kitchen sections; training available.
• Passion for cooking and willingness to work breakfast or dinner shifts.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and WHS practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and follow kitchen procedures.
• Excellent teamwork and professional attitude.
