Job summary

Hearing Australia is seeking a casual Client Service Specialist to support and empower clients of all backgrounds. You’ll greet clients, handle counter and phone enquiries, and contribute to efficient administration and appointment coordination.

You’ll assist clinicians by identifying client needs, demonstrate hearing aid use, and perform minor repairs. The role involves working with diverse communities, including children and adults from multicultural backgrounds, to deliver compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Experience solving problems proactively in a client-facing role.
• Intermediate/advanced computer skills and familiarity with mobile apps (iOS/Android).
• Desire to work in an organisation delivering meaningful community support.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and handle counter and telephone enquiries.
• Cover reception and manage general admin: bookings, claims, data entry, reports.
• Liaise with diverse clients including children and adults from multicultural backgrounds.
• Perform minor hearing aid repairs and troubleshooting.
• Assist clinicians by identifying client needs and demonstrating hearing aid use.
