Job summary

I'm Angus Steakhouse is seeking cooks and chefs who are versed in all sections of the kitchen. A relevant diploma or equivalent experience and at least 1 year of work experience are required.

As a casual Chef, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences as part of a passionate culinary team. You'll prepare high-quality dishes, maintain hygiene standards, contribute to menu development, and work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver meals promptly.

Qualifications

• Formal culinary training or equivalent experience as a Chef.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for creating delicious, high-quality dishes.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Current Food Safety Supervisor certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality, innovative dishes following established recipes and procedures.
• Ensure all food preparation and cooking is carried out to the highest standards of quality and hygiene.
• Assist with menu development and provide input on new dish ideas.
• Maintain a clean and organised work station.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver meals in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all food safety and workplace health and safety regulations.
