Job summary

Foxdog Distillery & Brewery is seeking capable, reliable Chefs/Cooks to join the kitchen team. Casual roles offer approximately 30–40 hours per week, depending on experience and availability.

Responsibilities include cooking to Foxdog's standards, pizza prep, and supporting weddings, functions and events. Strong food hygiene and time-management skills are essential. Applicants should be flexible to work weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef or Cook in a busy kitchen.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
• Pizza preparation and cooking experience desired.
• Strong food preparation and cooking skills.
• Reliable and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking menu items to Foxdog's recipes and presentation standards.
• Working across different sections of the kitchen as required.
• Completing daily food preparation and service tasks.
• Maintaining quality, consistency and portion control.
• Preparing pizza dough, sauces, toppings and other ingredients.
• Stretching, topping and cooking pizzas consistently.
• Managing preparation levels before and during service.
• Assisting with weddings, functions and special events.
• Monitoring ingredients and communicating stock requirements.
• Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures.
