Job summary

The Salvation Army in NSW is seeking a casual Sales Assistant to support daily operations and deliver an inspiring in-store experience in Cootamundra. Reporting to the Store Manager, this on-site position requires strong customer service, energy, and a willingness to work across the retail area on a rolling weekend roster.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience - highly regarded but not essential.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Genuine passion and ability to deliver outstanding results.
• Alignment with our values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity.
• High energy, hands-on with strong communication skills.
• Flexibly to work a rolling roster including weekends and across locations in the retail area.

Responsibilities

• Retail sales and operation of Point of Sale devices.
• Sort, price and prepare donations for sale.
• Assist in the development and coordination visual merchandising and store presentation
• Provide exceptional Customer Service
• Display stock in correct departments, following policy and procedure.
• Follow Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures
• Demonstrate TSA core values in all work related activities.
