Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern Highlands Corps in NSW is seeking a casual Sales Assistant to deliver outstanding customer service and support day-to-day store and warehouse operations. Reporting to the Corps Operations and Services Manager, you will help process donations, price and present stock, and assist with promotions in a friendly, gospel-centered environment.

You will join a team focused on community support, safety, and quality service, with on-site work in Southern Highlands.

Qualifications

• Previous retail customer service experience.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to comply with WHS and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service across all store areas.
• Process donations, replenish stock, and ensure pricing/presentation.
• Support promotions, visual merchandising and marketing activities.
• Maintain cash handling and banking procedures.
• Contribute to a clean, safe, well-organised store environment.
• Follow Work Health & Safety requirements and other duties as directed.
