Job summary

Vili's Family Bakery in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Casual Café Cook to join our 24/7 café team. You’ll cook quality café meals across grill, fryer and short-order stations, with regular shifts and potential for ongoing permanent work.

We value reliability, teamwork and food safety, with training and progression opportunities within our long-standing South Australian family business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a café, restaurant or commercial kitchen.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or relevant kitchen experience highly regarded.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and able to work independently.
• Strong teamwork and food safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a range of café meals to company standards.
• Work across grill, fryer and short-order stations.
• Maintain presentation and consistency of all menu items.
• Collaborate with Front of House for smooth service.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures at all times.
• Complete stock rotation (FIFO), labelling and storage requirements.
• Conduct temperature monitoring and quality checks.
