Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not required.
• Passion for hospitality and food preparation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Reliable and punctual with casual shift flexibility.
• Good teamwork and clear communication with senior staff.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organise ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and other items.
• Keep the kitchen clean and hygienic, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware.
• Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks as directed.
• Manage waste disposal and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Restock kitchen supplies and monitor inventory.
• Support smooth kitchen operations during service periods.
• Follow food safety protocols and maintain an organised workspace.
• Assist with general kitchen duties as required by senior staff.
