Bar Coco Pty Ltd seeks an experienced Casual Barista/Food Van All-Rounder to join our team in Sydney. You will work across our mobile coffee, gelato and ice cream vans at various events and locations.

Barista experience is essential, and you will also handle serving, scooping gelato and ice cream, cold beverages, orders and friendly service. You must be reliable, well presented, and comfortable in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Casual Barista/Food Van All-Rounder to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on role working across our mobile coffee, gelato and ice cream vans at a range of events and locations throughout Sydney.

While barista experience is essential, the successful applicant will also be comfortable performing a variety of other duties including serving and scooping gelato and ice cream, preparing cold beverages, taking customer orders and providing friendly, efficient customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing quality espresso coffee and other beverages
• Scooping and serving gelato and ice cream
• Preparing a variety of cold beverages
• Taking customer orders and processing payments
• Providing friendly, professional and efficient customer service
• Maintaining a clean, organised and well-presented service area
• Restocking products, cups, ingredients and supplies throughout the shift
• Assisting with set-up, pack-down and general cleaning
• Following food safety, hygiene and company procedures
• Working efficiently during busy event and peak service periods
• Assisting the team with general food van duties as required
