Job summary

ICC Sydney is seeking an experienced Barista to join our world‑class Venue’s Café, delivering high‑quality beverages and five‑star service in a fast‑paced setting. You will greet guests, prepare drinks, and help maintain a welcoming atmosphere at the entrance of our Convention Centre.

You’ll work a 6:30 am to 3 pm shift, support the retail team with orders, and ensure cleanliness and stock are kept up throughout the day. Prior barista experience and RSA certification are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of barista experience in a café or similar.
• Experience in front-of-house customer service.
• Experience overseeing coffee machine settings and maintenance.
• RSA certification is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.

Barista at ICC Sydney – Event Delivery Team

We are currently looking for an experienced full‑time Barista to join our world‑class Event Delivery team. You will be the face of our venue, working within our bustling Café at the entrance of our Convention Centre.

You will play a key role in the delivery of our extraordinary experiences, working in a fast‑paced environment while delivering 5‑star service, and delicious coffee! You will:

• Work as a Barista within the Café, preparing coffee orders in a timely manner.
• Deliver 5‑star service, greeting and serving our guests and clients and representing the ICC brand.
• Assist the retail team in taking orders using the POS system, restocking of fridges and serving Food & Beverage offerings.
• Ensure the Café and surrounding areas are tidy and stock is replenished throughout the day.
• Complete open and close shifts, including maintenance of the coffee machine and general maintenance of the Café and area.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Working knowledge of the industry along with a passion for Hospitality.
• Availability to work the hours of 6:30 am to 3 pm across a 7 day roster.
• Immaculate personal presentation & grooming.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
