Job summary

Carpentaria Shire Council in Normanton is seeking a caring Casual Childcare Assistant, qualified or unqualified, to join our friendly childcare team. You will work a minimum of 4 hours per day (10:00am–2:00pm), assisting educators during lunch and rest times and helping maintain a safe, welcoming environment for children.

The role offers a pathway to a full-time position and to pursue a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

About the Position

You will work a minimum of 4 hours per day (10:00am – 2:00pm), assisting educators during lunch and rest time. This position has the potential to transition into a full-time role for individuals wishing to pursue a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (if not already qualified).
