Banyule City Council in Melbourne is seeking Aquatics Education Instructors for casual on-site roles across the week and weekends to teach water safety and swimming skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with Learn to Swim programs is desirable.
• Excellent class management and safety management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with children.
• Flexibility in approach and adaptability to shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes to ensure safety of participants.
• Instruct classes in water safety, survival skills, rescue techniques, stroke technique and stroke correction.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with participants and parents.
