Job summary

The Wish Group is expanding its Wish Home Care team to support older clients in their own homes around the Bellarine area, Victoria. Casual home care roles require passion for care, reliability and the ability to work with a dedicated team to help clients live independently.

Candidates should have a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent, with at least 12 months experience in aged care/home care. A driver’s license and access to a car are preferred.

Qualifications

• A Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent.
• Proven ability to work with older adults in home care settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability and willingness to undertake ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (showering, dressing, hygiene).
• Perform household tasks (cleaning, shopping, meal prep).
• Prepare and cook meals for clients.
• Support clients to attend appointments and activities in the community.
• Offer social support and companionship to maintain wellbeing.
• Assist clients to maintain daily living skills and independence.
