Role Purpose

Providing family violence case management support and case coordination toAboriginal women and their children affected by family violence. Utilising our strengths-based approach,conducting comprehensive needs and risk assessments for women and their children includingscreening, assessment, referrals and short-term support.

Position Specifics

Case management, referrals, promoting cultural safety, healthy family functioning, safety from violence, overallsecurity and the stability and development of Aboriginal children and young people. Liaising with Aboriginal families and communities to enhance child, family and Community capacity. This rolealso provides support and specialised knowledge to improve responses to housing challenges faced byCommunity members.
