Focused on Cleaning is seeking a Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our Toowoomba team. You’ll operate our industrial steam cleaning machines to clean carpets, tiles, lounges and rugs, delivering high-value results and excellent customer service on every job.

We offer flexible hours (38 hours, 4-day weeks), opportunities for career progression, and an uncapped commission on added services. A valid driver's license and police check are required, with comprehensive training provided.

Role Overview

Don't confuse this role with using hired carpet cleaning machines from Bunnings or store-bought Bissell carpet spotters. No, our state of the art, industrial machines made with space age technology, clean deeper and quicker than any machine on the market. These petrol driven, van mounted machines make carpet cleaning a pleasure to do and combined with our Hybrid Cleaning Agents, make the cleaning process light work with great results.

The Role of a Carpet Cleaning Technician with Focused on Cleaning will come with ease to the right person who has an outgoing personality and enjoys providing great customer service. The ability to have a 'chin-wag' with our awesome customers and making client focused conversations, face-to-face, is key to maintaining great customer relationships and building new ones. Of course, being able to work autonomously and providing a great service is a given. Our culture is based on seeing the positive in every situation and working through any problem that arises to achieve the best solutions. The position of Carpet Cleaning Technician comes with Leveling pay rises as you progress to Lead Technician and Bonuses for achieving Targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform steam cleaning of carpets, tiles and grout, lounges, and rugs, ensuring adherence to processes and procedures.
• Maintain an accurate schedule and communicate any suggestions to optimize daily operations.
• Close off each workday by completing job notes, communicating with admin and customers, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of company vehicles.
• Attend work with a positive mindset, readiness to collaborate with team members, and a willingness to share knowledge and experience for mutual growth.
• Ensure company vehicles are adequately stocked for scheduled work by checking the schedule the day before.
• Maintain a professional appearance by wearing clean uniforms and presenting oneself in a well-groomed manner.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members on a daily basis to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain physical and mental health for work, refraining from the influence of any substances.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High Customer Service Skills is Required as previous experience in carpet cleaning is not essential and all training is provided.
• Strong commitment to delivering high-quality work and continuous improvement.

• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability to changing situations.
• Valid manual driver's license and clean driving record.
