Blue Dog Training, an award-winning apprenticeship training provider in Construction and Engineering, is seeking a permanent Trainer/Assessor to join our established team. This role offers the chance to move off the tools while remaining active in the construction trades and to work with a crew of like-minded tradespeople.

You will train and assess apprentices across Queensland, developing training plans, visiting worksites and guiding learners from enrolment to completion while pursuing

Qualifikationen

• Certificate III in Carpentry (required).
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is an advantage.
• Eligibility to obtain a Blue Card (for working with children) is required or pursued.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
• Passion for training and mentoring apprentices.
• Experience sharing knowledge with young people (e.g., on-site or coaching).

Aufgaben

• Manage and coordinate apprentices from sign-up to completion.
• Develop positive relationships with apprentices and employers; create aligned training plans.
• Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring and on-site training and practical assessment.
• Explain processes and answer questions to learners.
• Assess apprentice competency against unit guidelines and standards.
• Maintain filing and records to meet audits and policies.
• Contribute to training resources and continuous improvement.
