Building Industry Training Pty Ltd is expanding its full-time trainer workforce across Queensland. We are seeking multiple trainers in trades including bricklaying, concreting, plastering, tiling, painting, waterproofing and carpentry.

Full-time roles include a salary package with superannuation and a work vehicle. Trainers will visit worksites, tutor apprentices, maintain qualifications, and develop training materials.

Formación

• Hold a current qualification in the relevant trade.
• Hold or be prepared to immediately obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• Hold current White Card.
• Hold current Blue Card.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and computers.

Responsabilidades

• Work with apprentices/trainees to assist in improving their skills and knowledge.
• Tutoring apprentices from a range of practical and theoretical projects.
• Visit students on site and/or conduct group training at our facilities depending on student needs.
• Maintain the currency of their qualifications and assist in the review and adaptation of existing training materials to maintain their relevance and currency.
• Be responsible for completing site visits, document training activities and assessments.
• Act as a mentor by providing practical training and support to students on a range of topics based on your trade qualification.
• Facilitate and assist in the development of new training and assessment resources.
