Job summary

MRAEL is partnering with Bayliss Constructions to recruit a 1st or 2nd-year Carpentry Apprentice. You will gain hands-on experience across general construction, specialized formwork, and building maintenance on government projects.

The role requires at least 6 months of prior carpentry exposure and WHS units completed, with a strong focus on teamwork and a positive, reliable attitude. Join a supportive training-oriented team that values safety, ongoing development, and clear progression pathways

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months into 1st year or currently in 2nd year of carpentry apprenticeship.
  • Must have completed WHS units (Workplace Health & Safety) as required by host contract.
  • Positive attitude, reliability and ability to work well in a team.
  • Genuine desire to learn complex, specialized carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with general construction tasks, specialized formwork and building maintenance.
  • Contribute to projects such as government construction works and formwork installations.
  • Learn and develop through structured training with a supportive apprenticeship team.

Are you a 1st or 2nd-year Carpentry Apprentice looking for a supportive team and diverse projects?MRAEL has partnered with Bayliss Constructions, a highly respected host employer specialising in government construction works, to find our next rising star.

If you have at least 6 months of experience under your belt and are ready to tackle exciting, unique challenges, we want to hear from you!

  • A positive attitude, strong reliability, and the ability to work seamlessly in a team environment.
  • A genuine desire to learn complex, specialized skills.
