Job summary

Bayliss Constructions in Queensland is seeking a 1st or 2nd-year Carpentry Apprentice to join a supportive team. You will engage in general construction, specialised formwork, and building maintenance, working on Energex substations and other formwork projects.

Applicants must have at least 6 months of experience and completed WHS units. A positive attitude, reliability and ability to work in a team are essential as you train with experienced tradespeople.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months into your 1st year or currently at a 2nd-year level.
  • WHS (Workplace Health & Safety) units completed.
  • Positive attitude, reliability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • General construction, specialised formwork and building maintenance.
  • Work on high-profile government construction works including Energex substations and formwork projects.
  • Tackle complex tasks like excavating and building under existing structures or repairing weathered materials.
