Job summary

HIA Apprentices in Cranbourne and surrounding areas (Dandenong, Frankston and Pakenham) are offering carpentry apprenticeships with immediate start. Learn hands-on alongside professional tradespeople and work on construction sites to become a qualified carpenter.

This full-time program provides dedicated field support, PPE, and a substantial tool loan option to help you succeed in your apprenticeship. A strong work ethic and team spirit are key as you commit to completing the program.

Qualifications

• Be prepared to work as part of a carpentry team.
• Commitment to completing the apprenticeship and becoming a qualified carpenter.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport preferred. CI Card (white Card) or willingness to obtain before starting.

Responsibilities

• Learn carpentry hands-on on construction sites and build structures.
• Work alongside professional trades people and gain broad on-site skills.
• Participate in all aspects of the training and employment associated with the apprenticeship.
