Job summary

AZCO PROJECTS PTY LTD is seeking a motivated Carpentry Apprentice (1st–4th Year) to join our growing team. This role offers full-time, on-site training in residential carpentry across Sydney, with exposure to wall framing, timber construction, cladding and general site duties.

You'll work with experienced carpenters and develop your skills toward becoming a qualified carpenter. We welcome applicants starting or currently completing an apprenticeship, who are reliable, punctual and eager to learn

Responsibilities

What you will be doing

As part of the team, you'll gain hands‑on experience across a broad range of residential carpentry, including:

• Wall and roof framing

• Timber roof construction

• Eaves and external cladding

• Fix-out and general carpentry

• Reading plans and understanding construction details

• Measuring, cutting and installing timber

• Safe use of hand and power tools

• Working from heights and on scaffolding where required

• General site duties

• Working alongside experienced carpenters and developing your skills on site

The role will provide exposure to different stages of residential construction rather than being limited to one repetitive task.
