Job summary

Local Workforce Hire are seeking experienced Carpenters for a short-term night shift shop-fit project in Mackay Central, QLD. You will join a team delivering retail fit-out works, using hand and power tools and maintaining safety on site.

Casual and subcontractor arrangements may be considered. Nights only, with a 5-hour shift from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, paid at $97.50 per hour plus super. Applicants must hold White Card and full Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• Qualified or experienced Carpenter.
• Previous shop-fitting or commercial fit-out experience preferred.
• Confident using hand and power tools.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Available for both night shifts.
• White Card
• Appropriate PPE and work gear.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Local Workforce Hire is currently seeking experienced Carpenters for a short-term night shift shop-fit project in Mackay Central, QLD.

Position Details

Location: Mackay Central, QLD
Dates: Monday 6 September & Tuesday 7 September
Hours: 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Duration: 2 nights

Pay Rate

$97.50 per hour + superannuation

This rate includes the applicable night-shift penalty.

That's approximately $487.50 + super per night for a 5-hour shift.

About the Role

You will be working as part of a team completing shop-fit works for a retail store.

Duties may include:

• General carpentry and shop-fitting works
• Assisting with retail fit-out and installation
• Using hand and power tools
• Working alongside other trades on site
• General construction and fit-out tasks
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work area

• Qualified or experienced Carpenter
• Previous shop-fitting or commercial fit-out experience preferred
