Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking reliable General Labourers for a short-term night shift in Mackay Central, QLD. You will support tradespeople on a shop-fit project, unloading containers, moving materials, and keeping the site tidy.

Responsibilities include assisting tradespeople, following directions, and maintaining safety. White Card is preferred/required where applicable, with full working rights in Australia. Casual/subcontractor arrangements may be considered.

Qualifications

• Prior general labouring experience preferred.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.
• Available to work night shifts on short-term assignments.

Job description

Local Workforce Hire is currently seeking reliable General Labourers for a short-term night shift opportunity in Mackay Central, QLD.

Location: Mackay Central, QLD
Dates: Monday 6 September & Tuesday 7 September
Start Time: 5:00 pm each night
Finish Time: Approximately 10:00 pm
Duration: 2 nights

Pay Rate

$52.67 per hour + superannuation, including the applicable night-shift penalty rate.

Based on a 5-hour shift, this is approximately $263.35 + superannuation per night.

About the Role

You will be assisting tradespeople on a retail shop-fit project.

• Unloading containers and materials
• Moving and handling materials around site
• Assisting tradespeople with general tasks
• General labouring and site clean-up
• Following directions from supervisors and trades
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work area

About You

• Previous general labouring experience preferred
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable and punctual
• Available to work both night shifts
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• White Card preferred/required where applicable
• Appropriate PPE and work gear
• Full working rights in Australia
