Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU in Sydney is seeking qualified and motivated Carpenters to join a growing team delivering residential and commercial projects across New South Wales. This full-time role offers long-term employment, competitive remuneration, career development and visa sponsorship for suitable overseas candidates.

Successful applicants will work on a range of carpentry projects, collaborating with an experienced team to deliver high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Carpentry or a related trade.
• At least two years of carpentry experience.
• Knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Valid White Card or ability to obtain one.
• Current driver's license preferred.
• Own tools and vehicle preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans and complete project set-outs.
• Construct floor, wall and roof framing.
• Install external cladding and sheetings systems.
• Install subfloors and finished flooring.
• Fit skirting boards, architraves and internal finishes.
• Install doors, windows and associated hardware.
• Construct and install staircases.
• Build decks, pergolas and other exterior timber structures.
• Carry out general carpentry, maintenance and defect rectification.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship in accordance with Australian standards.
