Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering plans to measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials.
• Build, install, maintain, and repair structures including walls, floors, ceilings, stairs, door frames, windows, cabinets, and timber fixtures.
• Ensure carpentry work meets building codes, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Calculate materials, labour, and project costs and assist with work plans.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, clients, and other trades to meet project requirements.
• Assist in supervising junior carpenters and site workers where required.
• Inspect carpentry work for quality and compliance before handover.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues to keep projects on schedule.

• Inspect completed carpentry work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance before final installation or project handover.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment throughout and following completion of each project.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues efficiently to help keep construction projects on schedule.
