Job summary

Pilbara Remote Services is seeking a trade qualified Carpenter to join our Trades & Services team, covering general repairs, outdoor structures, internal fit-outs, renovations and custom-building solutions.

This casual role runs 12 hours per day, 6.00am to 6.00pm, with rosters for Newman or ex-Perth options. Applicants will have a recognised trade qualification, a white card, legal driving licence, police check and a safe-work approach.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised trade qualification.
• Two years’ experience in a similar role.
• Unrestricted manual drivers’ licence, MR preferred.
• Construction White Card.
• National Police Check.

Job description

Pilbara Remote Services is a trusted local provider of remote recovery, transport solutions, and trade services. Located in Newman and operating across the Pilbara and beyond, we deliver dependable support where access, distances and conditions demand experience and quality services.

THE ROLE

We currently have the opportunity for a trade qualified Carpenter to join our Trades & Services team covering everything from general repairs and outdoor structures to internal fit-outs, renovations and custom-building solutions.

This casual position works 12 hours per day from 6.00am to 6.00pm:

• Monday to Friday or 8/6 for a Newman local
• 2/1 or 12/9 roster ex Perth

As a Carpenter you will work over several areas, including:

• Carpentry work
• Renovations
• Interior and exterior building repairs
• Kitchen installations
• Flooring and skirting work
• Gyprock repairs

ABOUT YOU

Will have a carpenter, cabinet making or building background, you will require:

• Australian recognised trade qualification
• Unrestricted manual drivers’ licence, MR preferred
• Construction White Card
• National Police Check
• High attention to detail
• Two years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong commitment to working safely
• Able to pass a Pre-Employment Medial, including an Alcohol & Other Drugs Screen
