Our Trade Services team is a diverse team made up of skilled carpenters, painters, plasterers, tilers, concreters, handypersons, and trade assistants that work collaboratively to deliver high quality, safe and cost-effective outcomes that exceed customer expectations.

The Opportunity:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Carpenter to join our team based from our office in Port Augusta.

In this role you will work across multiple projects and sites, working on a variety of residential works from small maintenance jobs to full refurbishments.

Standard working weeks are 38 hours Monday to Friday, but there will also be times that you are rostered on call and need to attend sites after hours to perform emergency maintenance works. Due to the vast area we service, daily and overnight regional travel may be required from time to time.

This role will enable you to utilise your skills and experience to deliver high-quality work whilst providing an essential service to the local community.

About You:

The successful candidate will demonstrate high-level carpentry skills and have previous experience in residential maintenance and refurbishment.

With multiple projects on the go at any one time, you will thrive working in a fast-paced environment and effective at working to meet agreed timeframes. You will be a strong communicator and have the people skills required to interact with our diverse client base. All work is allocated and signed off via software, with a sound level of computer skills being required.

Requirements:

• Successful completion of a medical check including Alcohol and other Drugs screening.
• Hourly rate between $35 and $45 per hour commensurate with candidate skills and experience.
