dnata is a global air services provider, and we’re recruiting for a hands-on Cargo role at our Banksmeadow offsite facility in Sydney. This permanent part-time position offers full training and real opportunities to grow within a global organisation.

Join a dynamic team; you’ll operate forklifts, load/unload cargo, manage documentation, and use cargo systems, with a clear progression path to full-time roles after 12 months.

Qualifications

• Australian/NZ citizenship or permanent residency and ongoing work rights.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain).
• Basic–intermediate computer skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently.
• Flexible to work across a rotating roster.
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical.
• Ability to pass an Australian Federal Police security check.

• Handle import/export documentation and data entry.

About the Role:

This is a physical, hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in keeping cargo moving safely and efficiently. No two shifts are the same, and you’ll be working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Operate forklifts safely
• Load and unload cargo efficiently and accurately
• Handle import/export documentation and data entry
• Use cargo systems to process freight and track shipments
• Build and break down ULDs (Unit Load Devices)
• Ensure all cargo is handled in line with safety and operational procedures
