Job summary

Star Aviation Services is seeking an experienced Cargo Operations Manager to lead our cargo handling operations at Western Sydney International Airport. This senior role will oversee safe, efficient and service-focused cargo activities and guide a capable operations team.

You will support the Cargo Terminal Manager as 2IC, with daily planning, workforce rostering, coaching and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Western Sydney.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in aviation freight or warehousing is essential.
• Strong leadership capability with a focus on people and performance.
• Strong workforce planning and problem-solving capability.
• Available to work a rotating overnight shift roster.
