Qualifications

• Previous experience in a caretaker, facilities, estates, maintenance, or site management role.
• Good practical DIY and maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Opening and securing the school site.
• Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Ensuring the school grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Conducting regular health and safety checks.
• Managing deliveries and liaising with contractors on site.
• Supporting the setup of classrooms, halls, and facilities for school events.
• Identifying and reporting maintenance issues.
• Assisting with compliance and site documentation where required.
• Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
