Job summary

RFBI seeks experienced aged care carers to join our Raleigh Urunga Masonic Village team in New South Wales. You will provide personal care services to residents and contribute to high-quality, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Must be eligible to work in Australia.
• Previous experience in an aged care environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds.
• Provide basic clinical care including wound dressing, assist with medication delivery and record basic clinical observations.
• Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Entering reports and observations into the iCare computer program.

We are currently seeking experienced aged care carers to join our wonderful team and work at our Raleigh Urunga Masonic Village. You will play a key part in our care team by providing a wide range of personal care services to our residents.

The Royal Freemasons' Benevolent Institution (known as RFBI) is a non-for profit (NFP) organisation that has been in operation for 146 years. We currently operate 22 residential aged care villages, 20 retirement villages and a range of home and community services across NSW and ACT.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Shower, dress, groom, assist with meals and make the beds
• Providing basic clinical care including; wound dress, assist with medication delivery and record basic clinical observations.
• Provide care management for diabetes, arthritis and other conditions.
• Entering reports and observations into our computer program-iCare.
• Assisting and following directions of the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centred care
