Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Carer at Carlingford House to provide high‑quality, person‑centred care. You will assist residents with daily tasks, support wellbeing and independence, and maintain dignity with kindness and respect.

You will follow care plans, observe changes, document progress and escalate to the Registered Nurse when required. Casual shift availability and Australian work rights are essential.

Formación

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
• Minimum six months’ experience providing personal care in aged care or similar healthcare environment.
• Current NDIS workers screening check clearance.
• Experience using electronic care management or digital documentation systems.
• Australian working rights appropriate to the position.
• Availability to work minimum three casual shifts per week.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting and feeding.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers and other physical assistance.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Observe, monitor and accurately document residents’ care and progress.
• Follow individual care plans and respond to residents’ needs and preferences.
• Escalate changes in a resident’s condition to the Registered Nurse or appropriate leader.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, allied health professionals and other care team members.
• Maintain residents’ privacy, dignity, safety and independence.
