Job summary

Anglicare Sydney, New March House, Kingswood, is seeking a Carer to provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents, assisting with daily tasks and supporting wellbeing. You will work with nurses and allied health staff to monitor residents, document progress, and help maintain dignity and independence for residents in our aged care facility.

A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent is required, with at least 6 months’ experience; NDIS screening and digital documentation experience

Qualifications

  • Requires a Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in aged care or a similar healthcare setting.
  • NDIS workers screening check clearance ID.
  • Experience with care management systems and digital documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care assistance, including showering, dressing, grooming and feeding.
  • Support residents with mobility and physical assistance and provide companionship.
  • Monitor and document residents’ progress and preferences.
  • Collaborate with nurses and allied health professionals to deliver person-centered care.
