Anglicare Sydney’s Carlingford House is seeking a caring Carer to support residents with daily living activities, dignity and independence.

You will provide personal care, assist with mobility, monitor wellbeing and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in a supportive environment.

This part-time role offers flexible shifts, training, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older people.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient approach to elder care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting and feeding.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers and other physical assistance.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Observe, monitor and document residents’ care and progress.
• Follow individual care plans and respond to residents’ needs and preferences.
• Escalate changes in a resident’s condition to the Registered Nurse or supervisor.
• Collaborate with nurses and care team to ensure safety, privacy and dignity.
