Wellways Australia is recruiting a Carer Hub Navigator in Mount Isa to act as the welcoming face for carers and guide them to Carer Gateway services. You will integrate community development to raise awareness and improve access to resources across local organisations, health services, schools and local government.

This full-time role emphasizes relationship-building, holistic wellbeing and a no-wrong-door approach to empower carers in the Mount Isa region.

Qualifications

• Experience working with family carers in mental health, alcohol and other drugs, community support services.
• Current valid Driver’s Licence and ability to travel within Mount Isa region.
• Willingness to complete required background checks and orientation.

Responsibilities

• Create seamless connections between carers and vital community resources.
• Support carers to thrive by focusing on holistic wellbeing and independence.
• Uphold a no wrong door approach and build strong community partnerships.
• Oversee the Mount Isa Carer Hub and promote wellbeing, connection and belonging.
