Job summary

Regency Newcastle is seeking caring caregivers to support our senior residents with daily well-being, personal services, and medication assistance.

You will report to the wellness director and follow each resident's service plan, performing ADLs while maintaining a safe, home-like environment.

Qualifications

• CNA license is required.
• Six months of caregiving experience is preferred; training provided if you are new to healthcare.
• Must be able to compose reports in English.

Responsibilities

• Follow the resident service plan including ADLs such as bathing and grooming, and administer medications as needed.
• Communicate problems or concerns about residents, apartments, buildings, and grounds with the appropriate team member.
• Maintain a clean, neat, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
• Comply with regulatory standards and OSHA guidelines and incident reporting procedures.
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
• Support the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and home-like atmosphere for residents.

We are Regency Newcastle, an exceptionally beautiful retirement and assisted living community providing each individual compassionate care in a nurturing environment. We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to join our team.

CNA License Required!

$1,500 Welcome Bonus (FT)

As a caregiver, you assist our senior residents in their daily well-being, including personal services, medication assistance, social-recreational activities, meal services, and other tasks. You will report to the wellness director.

You Will:

• Follow the resident service plan including; assistance, bathing, grooming, administering medication, and other activities of daily living (ADLs), noting changes in the resident condition.
• Communicate problems, concerns, and issues with resident apartments, buildings, and grounds with an appropriate team member.
• Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and follow infection control procedures.
• Comply with regulatory standards and OSHA guidelines, and incident reporting guidelines.
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
• Support the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and home-like environment for residents.

You currently:

• Preferred candidates have six months of experience in senior caregiving. If new to healthcare, we will train.
• Exude a clean, neat, comfortable, and safe demeanor.
• Compose reports in English.
