Job summary

Aegis Living is hiring an Associate Care Director for Aegis Gardens Newcastle to provide quality care to our elderly residents and to lead care staff. The ACD works under the Care Director to implement care plans and oversee medication passes in AL and LN communities, while helping schedule staff to ensure safe resident care.

• Active CNA or HCA license required.
• 1+ years of caregiving experience for elderly residents.
• 1+ year of experience as a Medication Technician with nurse delegation in Senior Living.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication with residents, families, and team.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all community care staff.
• Find coverage for care staff call-outs.
• Manage care related forms and report staff overtime.
• Work direct personal care shifts as directed by the Care Director.
• Assist in training of care staff.
• Participate in management of staff.

Associate Care Director - Aegis Gardens Newcastle

Aegis Gardens Newcastle is looking for an Associate Care Director to provide quality care to our elderly residents and leadership to our care staff. The Associate Care Director (ACD) is an integral member of the health care team. Under the general direction of the Care Director, the ACD assists with the implementation of all care (ADLs) functions and medication passes in AL and LN communities as well supporting scheduling of care staff to ensure safe resident care.
