Job summary

Dovida is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our local team in Chinchilla, QLD. You’ll provide daily living support, companionship and personal care in clients’ homes, helping with meals, transport, and errands with kindness and respect.

We value flexibility, a willingness to travel between clients, and a commitment to growth. A laptop/tablet, Australian driver’s license, and car insurance are required. Permanent or temporary rights to work in Australia are required.

Qualifications

• Must be located within the Chinchilla or surrounding areas and willing to travel a reasonable distance from client to client.
• Must be available a minimum of 3 days per week, Monday through to Friday.
• Must have a laptop/tablet and mobile smart phone to be able to navigate through various applications.
• Must have a valid Australian open driver license, access to a reliable car, and have comprehensive car insurance.
• Permanent or temporary rights to work in Australia with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living support, companionship and personal care to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily tasks, mobility, meal preparation, transport to appointments and errands.
• Offer compassionate, respectful, person-centred care to older people and/or those with a disability.
