Job summary

Dovida seeks compassionate Caregivers to support older people and individuals with disabilities in their own homes across Victoria. You will provide companionship, assist with daily activities and personal care, and help with practical tasks while promoting dignity and independence.

Enjoy flexible hours, comprehensive in-house training, and access to an Employee Assistance Program. A valid Australian driver’s license, a reliable car, and a device to work on are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a big heart, patience and a desire to help improve the lives of seniors and their families.
• Be personable, compassionate, approachable, and able to build relationships.
• Must be located within reasonable travel distance to clients and available Monday–Friday for at least 3 days from 7am.
• Must have a laptop/tablet and a mobile phone to navigate applications.
• Must have a valid Australian open driver license, access to a reliable car, and comprehensive car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and assist with daily tasks and personal care in clients' homes.
• Support clients with meals, reminders, and transportation to appointments or social activities.
• Deliver care with kindness, respect and understanding, maintaining client independence.
• Engage families and maintain clear communication about care plans and updates.

ABOUT YOU

• Must be located within Shepperton, Albury and Wodonga and willing to travel a reasonable distance from client to client.
• Must be available within Monday-Friday for a minimum of 3 days from 7am onwards.
• Must have a laptop/tablet and mobile smart phone to be able to navigate through various applications.
• Must have a valid Australian open driver license, access to a reliable car, and have comprehensive car insurance.
