Job summary

Dovida is a national provider of high-quality home care, helping seniors and people with disabilities live independently with dignity.

As a Dovida caregiver, you will offer companionship, assist with daily tasks, and provide more complex in-home care, bringing kindness and respect to every interaction. This role emphasizes local work with flexible hours to suit 7am–5pm schedules.

Qualifications

• Have a big heart, patience, and a desire to help improve the lives of seniors and their families.
• Be personable, compassionate, approachable, and able to build relationships.
• Must have a valid open driver’s license, access to a reliable car, and car insurance.
• Permanent or temporary rights to work in Australia with no restrictions.
• Must be located within the Glenelg and surrounding areas and willing to travel a reasonable distance from client to client.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and assist with daily tasks in clients’ homes.
• Deliver more complex care as needed, maintaining dignity and respect.
• Support clients with mobility, meals, medication reminders, and transport to appointments.

ABOUT YOU

• Have a big heart, patience, and a desire to help improve the lives of seniors and their families.
• Be personable, compassionate, approachable, and able to build relationships.
• Must be located within the Glenelg and surrounding areas and willing to travel a reasonable distance from client to client.
• Must be available for a minimum of 3 days per week between 7am and 5pm
• Must have a laptop/tablet and mobile smart phone to be able to navigate through various applications.
• Must have a valid open drivers license, access to a reliable car, and have car insurance.
