Job summary

Uniting NSW & ACT is hiring casual and permanent part-time carers across the South Coast region, including Farmborough, Shellharbour, Gerringong, Berry, and Nowra. Roles offer up to 76 hours per fortnight and include penalties, superannuation benefits, and casual loading.

You’ll provide compassionate care, companionship, and support to residents to promote independence and quality of life, including daily living assistance and mobility support.

Qualifications

• Requires a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Equivalent.
• Ability to provide daily living support with compassion and respect.
• Willingness to transport to different facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and companionship to residents.
• Assist with daily living activities (showering, dressing, meals).
• Support residents with mobility and personal care needs.
• Assist with medications and basic wound care where required.
