Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is seeking a Care Worker to support older Australians at home in Orange and surrounding areas. You will assist with daily activities, household tasks, and transport clients, building genuine connections.

Travel to Blayney, Cudal, Molong and Manildra may be required. Start time around 8am preferred, up to 30 hours per fortnight based on availability. You will have supervision, a dedicated phone, and opportunities for professional development.

About the Role

As a Care Worker supporting clients in Orange including surrounding areas you will be part of our BaptistCare At Home team that provides quality complex care and support to our clients in their own homes. You may assist with a range of tasks pertaining to household cleaning, showering, dressing, food preparation, continence support, medication assistance and transport to name a few. You will also develop genuine connections with your clients and help them live their best possible lives.

Travel for services is also required to; Blayney, Cudal, Molong and Manildra, with the potential to cover Bathurst where required. Please consider whether this is suitable prior to applying for the role. Applications indicate understanding and willingness to travel to these areas.

Preference for an 8am start time for services, with a potential of upto 30 hour/fortnight based on availability.

What You'll Bring

You have a caring nature, strong patience and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in someone's day.

A minimum requirement of this role is to hold an unrestricted Australian Driver Licence and a reliable vehicle with a minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance to transport clients. You will be a strong communicator with resilience and patience. Proficiency in the use of smartphone technology, apps and email is required.
